Mr. Ting-Han Lin’s practice focuses on corporate law, Securities and Exchange Act, Banking act, renewable energy-related regulations and dispute resolution. He has frequently assisted government agencies, domestic and foreign companies in litigations, mediations and arbitrations, and has assisted Japanese corporate client in investment in Taiwan, and other matters, such as tender offers, company setup, corporate management, legal compliance, and obtaining special business permit.
Mr. Lin has assisted many Japanese corporations in joint venture, investment and legal compliance in Taiwan. His experience includes assisting numerous Japanese corporations in application for investment approval and capital verification and approval with Investment Commission, assisting Japanese bank in making tender offers to purchase equities of a Taiwanese company listed at emerging stock market, assisting Japanese company in drafting of internal regulation regarding insider trading prevention, assisting Japanese bank in obtaining permit and licenses from Financial Supervisory Commission, assisting Japanese corporation in land acquisition in connection with a renewable energy development project, and providing legal advice on tender offers, corporate management and investment in Taiwan to Japanese companies.
With many years of experience in litigations, arbitrations and dispute resolutions, Mr. Lin has assisted clients in recognition of a foreign arbitration and application for compulsory enforcement proceeding, represented numerous nationwide famous construction companies in dispute regarding government procurement contract, the constructions involved in which disputes range from excavation of canal, highway construction, and stadium construction. He has also represented a government agency in dispute regarding a public construction contract (including BOT and ROT), and represented a government agency in petition and administrative litigation regarding dispute with an airline company. He has also defended clients in criminal matters, and secured not guilty verdict for a client regarding an alleged violation of Securities and Exchange Act, and therefore is highly trusted by his clients.
