Experience

Mr. Lee passed the bar examination with the sixth highest scores in 2014 (without grouping). He served as research and teaching assistant in graduate school in several fields of law, including general principles of the Civil Law, general provisions and particular types of obligations under the Civil Law and the Consumer Protection Act. Mr. Lee specializes in the contract law, civil liability and damages, and labor law, and his master thesis “A Study on Restrictions on Comparative Negligence in the Case of Civil Liability for Damages of Occupational Accidents” was awarded as outstanding research by the Taiwan Labor Law Association. Mr. Lee currently is taking doctorate program at the National Chengchi University, School of Law. He was selected by the Japan-Taiwan Exchange Association as Visiting Researcher to the University of Tokyo in 2019. Mr. Lee has profound understanding of both the theory and practice of Labor Law in Taiwan and Japan.

Mr. Lee is experienced of assisting renown local and foreign enterprises in handling employment disputes, dealing with administrative relief regarding labor law administrative sanctions, massive dismissal, reviewing labor contracts, working rules and human resource regulations, and establishing labor law compliance framework.

Mr. Lee also has experiences in lecturing. He was invited to lecture the labor law and regulation issues at several conferences for enterprises and Executive-MBA students. The lecture topics cover the compliance with the labor law and regulations, corporate governance, employment disputes, employment discrimination and the management and labor council, and the audiences of the lectures are often HR officers, legal consuls, high managers, directors and supervisors of enterprises.
