Experience
Mr. Cheng has a cross-disciplinary background in accounting and law, and is both a certified public accountant and a lawyer in Taiwan. With over 10 years of experience, he has worked extensively in accounting and auditing, including corporate accounting, auditing, and governmental auditing. Mr. Cheng also has extensive practical experience in these fields.
Mr. Cheng served as a Deputy Manager in the audit department of Deloitte Taiwan, where he was mainly responsible for financial statements of listed companies, audit and certification of Profit-seeking Enterprise Income Tax, and was also involved in the application for OTC listing on the Taipei Exchange (TPEx). Subsequently, Mr. Cheng ranked first in the Financial Audit Division of the Senior Civil Service Examination and joined the audit department of the Taiwan government. He worked in the audit department for nearly 10 years, gaining considerable experience in refining and researching audit regulations and systems, coordinating and planning internal control systems, and conducting internal audits, including the tracking and evaluation of the government audit business.
Mr. Cheng graduated from the Degree Program of Technology law of National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University School of Law. In addition to his expertise in labor law and financial and trade law, he also focuses on issues related to digital platforms. His master’s thesis examined emerging issues in labor law in relation to the digital platforms, specifically conducting in-depth research on compensation protection for couriers working for digital platforms.
