Mr. Chuang, Kai-Min has been practicing for about 10 years. Prior to practicing law, Mr. Chuang was a court clerk for civil courts and criminal courts for several years and hence has rich experience in court proceedings. Mr. Chuang has been providing the international and local clients with legal advice as well as represents them in court. Mr. Chung specializes in enterprise law, laws and regulations governing foreign firms investing in Taiwan, securities trading, real estate development, enterprise bankruptcy, and reorganization as well as consumer protection. In addition, Mr. Chung specializes in contract vetting and various transaction structures, including joint venture, guarantee, financial lease, business commission, and international trade. He provides legal consultation and assists clients to monitor legal risk in a preventive manner, successfully reducing the plausible legal risks encountered during operation or trading. Furthermore, when the legal proceeding is necessary, Mr. Chung represents his clients in all court activities and has received trust and recognition from his clients.
Mr. Chuang has extensive experience in providing sophisticated legal services for foreign and local clients regarding cross-border transactions, and some more current examples include reorganization procedures, credit transaction dispute, and real estate development projects. Mr. Chung has assisted a well-known Japanese LCD supplier to actively participate in the reorganization of a Taiwanese firm, thereby claiming back more than tens of millions of US dollars debts. Mr. Chung provided a well-known Japanese real estate developer with legal services including legal consultation, advice and contract vetting for a real estate development projects in Taiwan. Mr. Chung also has provided consulting services in a joint construction plan for office buildings between a renowned Taiwanese bank and an insurance company. Mr. Chung mediated the dispute for a joint construction on the office land for government between a well-known Taiwanese telecommunication supplier and the government. Mr. Chung handled the joint urban renewal plan in Taiwan for a famous Japanese construction firm. Mr. Chung assisted a well-known Japanese cookware enterprise to launch a cross-national claim to collect its debt in Taiwan.
As for litigation, Mr. Chuang has represented a renowned securities firm and successfully solved credit transaction disputes. Mr. Chung is currently representing a well-known Japanese construction firm in a public construction dispute with governmental agencies. In addition, he also represents a well-known Taiwanese construction firm in civil courts, handling disputes with its consumers and nearby residents due to sales and construction of condominiums.
