On May 22, 2025, Managing Partner Anthony Yang and Senior Associate Hung delivered a personal data protection training session at the Foundation of Taiwan Industry Service, presenting on “Implementation and Management of Personal Data Protection: From Regulatory Compliance to Practical Operations.”
The seminar focused on critical aspects of personal data protection, beginning with foundational awareness and progressing through recent amendments to the Taiwan Personal Data Protection Act. Through practical case studies, Anthony and Ariel highlighted common compliance challenges in daily operations. The presentation provided specific guidance for the institute personnel on regulatory compliance in government-commissioned projects, including proper protocols for data collection and utilization. The training session also offered detailed insights into implementing security measures, covering key areas such as internal systems development, data processing protocols, audit trail documentation, and effective management of outsourcing contracts.
