Our firm is co-hosting the “Labor Law Forum” with Soochow University School of Law, now in its fourth year. Given the increasing prevalence of AI (Artificial Intelligence) in various fields, the labor issues that arise from its interaction with labor law are particularly noteworthy. Specifically, the human resources management problems that emerge from its application in the workplace are a very important current topic. Therefore, this year’s forum theme is “AI and Labor Law,” and we hope to explore the impact of AI on labor law and the future direction of labor law.
This forum has invited Associate Professor Chang Yi-de from Soochow University School of Law to present a paper on “The Impact of AI Development on Labor and the Response of Labor Law—A Reference to Japanese Law.” Associate Professor Fu Bo-hsiang from National Taipei University School of Law will speak on “A Preliminary Exploration of the Regulation Model for Workplace AI Programs.” Senior Attorney Liao Fu-cheng from Aryze Law Office will present on “The Impact of AI on Corporate Human Resources Management—From the Perspective of an Employer’s Compliance with Labor Laws.” They will explore related topics from various angles, including the impact on labor forms, the management and regulation of AI programs, and the impact on human resources management. Additionally, Attorney-at-Law Liu Chih-peng from Aryze Law Office and Associate Professor Wang Neng-chun from National Taiwan University School of Law will serve as moderators, while Dean Liu Shih-hao from Ming Chuan University School of Law and Assistant Professor Hung Ying-jung from National Chung Hsing University Department of Law will act as discussants, sharing their experiences with German law.
