Experience
Ms. Lin earned her bachelor’s and master’s degree from the law school of National Taipei University. She passed the bar examination with the 4th highest score of the labor and social laws subset in 2018. In 2019, Ms. Lin represented NTPU at Lee and Li Moot Court Competition., in which their team took second place in the competition and Ms. Lin won the honor of Best Oralist.
Ms. Lin constantly focuses on new legal issues related to electronic commerce contracts, smart contracts and Blockchain. Her master’s thesis titled “A Study on the Legal Relationship of Smart Contract – Focusing on the Contract Law” compares smart contracts and e-commerce contracts and analyzes the influence of smart contract on existing contract law.
Ms. Lin familiarizes herself with general property disputes, consumer disputes and government procurement disputes. Her practice focuses on civil litigation, and she is also experienced in advising clients on the disputes arising from cross-border commercial transactions and construction contracts. She also help clients to settle many construction disputes, such as extension of time, defect rectification, payment for the work, and other disputes; she also assisted a renowned foreign pharmaceutical company to deal with the termination of licensing contract and domestic insurance companies to deal with insurance claims disputes. Ms. Lin also provides services regarding contract drafting and review and internal training for corporate clients.
