On January 12th, 16th, and 17th, 2024, Managing Partner Anthony Yang, Associate Ariel Hung, and Associate Pei Ying Lin were invited by a well-known luxury goods company to conduct educational training on ”Business Responses to the New Amendments to the Personal Data Protection Act.” The lecture presented a comprehensive overview of personal data protection, including an introduction to the importance of personal data awareness, recent trends in legislative amendments, and an analysis of recent cases where businesses violated the Personal Data Protection Act. Specifically, Stellex offered practical recommendations for companies to comply with ”Regulations on the Administration of the Security Maintenance of Personal Data in Merchandise Retailing Industry” to facilitate corporate risk management. The seminar received a great deal of enthusiasm and the attendees were highly engaged.
