Senior Partner Su-Yin Liu was invited by the Ministry of Labor to serve as the Introductory Speaker at the “Consultation Meeting on Protecting Workers’ Sick Leave Rights” held on November 10, 2025.

In her role initiating the session, Ms. Liu elucidated the existing regulations regarding sick leave, analyzing the system from the perspectives of its functional purpose and the principles of fairness in personnel management. She further framed the discussion by sharing comparative insights on legislative examples of sick leave protections from foreign jurisdictions. Following her introduction, Ms. Liu engaged in an exchange of views with representatives from central ministries, local labor administrative authorities, as well as national employer and labor organizations.
