Experience
Ms. Lee obtained her bachelor’s and master’s degree from the law school of National Taiwan University, specializing in Corporate law and Securities Trading law, and Insurance law, and served as a teaching assistant for the course of Corporate law in National Taiwan University. While working as a researcher at ANGLE PUBLISHING Co., Ltd., Ms. Lee revised and assisted in the publication of books on Civil Code, Corporate law and Insurance law. During Ms. Lee’s exchange program in the Netherlands, she focused on the study of the European Union law and gained an in-depth understanding of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the EU organizational structure (TEU, TFEU).
Ms. Lee’s master thesis, entitled “On the Right to Call a Shareholder Meeting: Reflection on the Revision of the Independent Director Regime”, examined cases of contests for corporate control related to independent directors and analyzed the impacts of preliminary injunctions by commercial courts on the right to call shareholders’ meetings.
Ms. Lee is experienced in handling disputes involved with Corporate Law, Securities and Exchange Law, Insurance Law, and provides advice on corporate compliance, financial regulations, and Trust law. Ms. Lee also helps clients to settle property disputes and construction disputes, such as defect rectification and payment for the work, and assists in the mediation of Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) cases. In addition, Ms. Lee also provides services regarding contract drafting and review.
